God with a Shortened Hand

Most all of us have experienced one or more miracles. For you, it may be meeting your future wife or husband at a place or time that was completely outside your normal routine. Perhaps you recovered from a disease or handicap when there was no hope. Like me, you may have been very shy for the first few decades of your life, and now find you’ve become quite outgoing and love to be around crowds. Miracles abound.

Miracles can be defined as God breaking His own rules. Momentum stops. Cancer stops growing or disappears. Routines are inexplicably changed. Your car runs on zero fuel for several miles.

If you admit to seeing at least one or two miracles in your life, what do you suppose is God’s limit? Do we each get one major miracle, and maybe a few smaller ones?

I would claim that any miracle God did in the past could be done again. If not the same miracle, then one also beyond the normal. Is it harder for God to heal your cancer or to keep you from leaving for work on time and missing that car going through a stop sign? Either one takes Divine intervention.

The Bible tells us that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. God loves us with an everlasting love.

Don’t consider me foolish when I call on God to do something miraculous in my life. He’s done it before; I could make you a long list of just the miracles in my own life.

God’s hand is not shortened.
