I Can't Find the Button

"Always be ready to share the hope that is in you." I Peter 3:15

There are a few fine people who drive around with their car windows down all the time. Some, of course, are kind enough to loudly share their favorite music. I'm not complaining about their generosity.

I'm one of the many people who rarely open their car windows. I can go weeks without running a window down. I run my car's air conditioner most of the time, or perhaps the heat, and both work better with the windows up.

Isn't it funny when we suddenly have the need to talk to someone just outside the vehicle? We fumble around, usually trying to ease the window up when we really want to ease it down. Trial and error takes a few seconds, while the person outside the vehicle smiles and probably chuckles on the inside. ("How hard can it be to lower the car's window?") We just weren't expecting to have to open the window.

We weren't ready.

Are you always ready to talk about your faith in Jesus? Can you find the button, that is, have you thought about what your faith means to you, and what you have to say about it?
