The Blog is Back!

On April 18, I found out that I would become the pastor of Marshallville United Methodist Church on June 10. Whew! It's hard to describe the enormity of moving to a new parsonage. Everything in the house has to be boxed up and labeled as to what room to place the contents in at the new house. Although many church parsonages are similar in size (that was the case), room number and their arrangement can vary considerably. We moved from a four-bedroom house to a three-bedroom house, and one of the bedrooms really needed to be used as my church office (please ignore the bed in the middle of the room!).

To make a long story short, most of our boxes are put away now. We are getting back to old routines, including this blog. We've left behind some dear friends, but we've made some incredible new friends at our new location.

Psalm 139 reminds us that God is wherever we go. That is so true. Life is good.
