Need Extra Hours?
God has been known to manufacture time.
In Joshua 10:12-14, God actually made the sun stay in place for a whole day, so the Israelites could have more time to take revenge on their enemies. Scientifically, I can't figure how this worked! Our days are measured by a revolution of the earth on its axis, not the movement of the sun. Did the earth stop spinning? I don't have to understand, it's just something I take on faith.
We have a different experience of God creating time. When we devote extra time to God, such as lengthening our prayer time or Bible reading, somehow everything falls into place. We often have more time after giving more of ourselves to God.
How does God do that?
