Not a Club
The church is not a club.
Well, it's like a club or civic organization in some ways. We come together for regular meetings. We "fellowship," which is a strange word that means we get toghether for times of friendly association, like meals or other group activities. We act together as a group to do good things for other people. We care for our members.
Maybe some churches are a club.
